[Ace]

Nathan hummed thoughtfully and eased into a parking space. The way he was driving now was much sleeker and experienced than his before performance of speeding down the road. Nathan twisted the keys out of the ignition and grabbed the door handle, pushing it open and being careful not to hit the car next to him. "Let's go see if Kasha's doing any better." he suggested after pushing up his glasses and blinking at a shaft of sunlight hitting his glasses at an angle and reflecting into his eyes briefly.

[Fauna]

Carter nodded and got out of the car. She looked around before started to head back toward the hospital. All these humans made her nervous, especially since they might notice something. What if the doctor's find an abnormality in Kasha and they are all taken back to the labs. Carter couldn't go back, ever! She just couldn't! 

[Al the Dalek]

"You scary guy," Alicia repeated sagely. "But s'okay. I scary too. Tha's why people no likes, because we look funnies. You has ouch, by the way. Also scary. Is it hurt?" She pouted in a theatrical manner. "Soooo. Cookies now. Tummy is fine!"

Jon froze, still holding Erik. "I'm helping," he said very slowly, praying that the demented chimera would understand. "Your friend is hurt. I am taking him to a safe place. Do you want to come?"

Alvin got up, holding his side where the bestial thing had clawed him and leaning very heavily to the side off of his bad leg. He spotted his prey hiding behind a tree, looking terrified as she looked at the flopping boy in the other's arms. He tried to catch her eye, winking and blowing a kiss as he twirled a knife in his hand. He did not need to mouth words to say that he had found her weakness and was willing to exploit it.

Alessandra perked up, and started hissing. "No for good, no for good. Perhaps helping, we are? No for good sign."

It was kind of difficult for them not to notice the fact that Kasha was very not different. At first glance, the doctors assumed that the ears and tail were part of that fad kids had of dressing like animals, but a brief tug on them was enough to show that they were not. But...they worked on her all the same. She didn't dress like a chimera soldier...

She was out of surgery now, but still in intensive care and unstable, totally passed out with a mask over her face and so many cords leading away from her. She looked very, very small and helpless, unlike her violent personality that made her seem so much larger and intimidating.

Nathan followed silently, abiding to Carter's silence as simply busy thinking about something else. Scratching at his jaw, Nathan thought about his family. They'd have been surprised if they heard about him almost getting a ticket. Nathan's mother would probably have been perfectly fine with bailing him out, or just paying for the ticket, but they still would have been surprised. Especially his younger sister. She would have laughed at him, and then mockingly congratulated him. The thought made him smile. Melanie and him were just close like that. Nathan quickly counted the days since her last birthday. She'd be ten years old in just a few months.

Adam sat in the waiting room, leaning back, rubbing his neck. He looked down at his clothes and cringed- he was covered in blood and guts, literally. He stood, looking around to find a restroom, then sighed. He didn't have any other clothes to wear...and if he washed them off he'd look like a soaking wet idiot. Sighing, he sat back down again, leaning back in his chair, wondering for a moment how the standoff with the police had gone for Carter and Nathan.

Danny squealed in delight, gasping. "Yes, could we!?" She asked at Riki's suggestion. "As soon as big brother Adam gets home, we'll ask him okay? Maybe you could get another pretty one too! We could match!" She said happily, leading him into the kitchen. "Hi Alicia and nice big brothers!" She said, greeting Sarkissos and Alexander.

[Desdomena]

Alexander shook his head at Sarkissos comment as he set the plates out. He didn't reply though not really having a comeback. He had to admit smiling did make things seem a bit better.

Kamlyn kept the towel tight against his wound not really sure what else to do. She could tell he was starting to hallucinate but she wasn't a doctor.

"Oh are they done?" Aura asked Darlya glancing toward the house and standing, "Come on let's go get some." she said with a smile grabbing his sleeve and leading him inside.

Celeste stiffened at Alvin's obvious meaning and she narrowed her eyes. "I'll kill you if you touch him." she mouthed making her meaning very clear her wings fluffing out, "In the most painful way I can."

"Oh you are smart girl." Sarkissos said smiling for Alicia. "We look a little funny for others, but nothing bad with that. we are so unique." He brought his handless arm from behind his back. "It is a little creepy, yeah. And it hurt, but it's okay. I am thinking about cookies, so I am fine." He nodded towards plates that Alexander had set on the table, but before he managed to say anything he noticed Danny and Riki.

"We will ask." Riki promised for Danny smiling faintly.

"Oh hello again, my other little princess. But what we have here. You brought beauty queen with you, little princess." Sarkissos stated for Danny. "No swimming in cold water again, beauty. It is dangerous." He said for Riki then.

Riki blinked his eyes being a little shamed because he knew that Sarkissos knew he tried to commit suicide at the river. He nodded still a little for Sarkissos being too exhausted to be polite and introduce himself.

"Now sweethearts, take cookies!" Sarkissos said.

"Helping it says... helping... but can this one trust to it?" Demyse was crouching like an animal. "This one is ordered to kill.... kill it says." He hissed and sneaked closer to Jon. "This one... This one can come with... Helping this one's friend? No hurting... Should this one trust?" He glared at Alvin again then.

Celor glanced at Alessandra. "I don't think that they need helping, but we can go to see... If it is fine for you." he said and started to walk to where Aura and Darlya were. He saw them then and otherwise they seemed to be okay except that Darlya was confused... as always. He heard them mention cookies.

Darlya nodded a little for Aura andfollowed her when she took his sleeve and dragged with her, but he noticed Celor and Alessandra just before the door. "Spider queen." He mumbled.

Leonai growled again angrily and scratched the floor again with his claws. Then he suddenly sat up without caring about pain and dizziness. "Hell... bloody hell..." He muttered and tried to force himself stand up, but his legs didn't obey him and forcing himself only get his condition worse. He still felt that he couldn't just stay there lying.

[Fauna]

Carter walked into the hospital and looked at Adam. She walked over and smiled, "We weren't arrested, almost were though." Her eyes gleamed a little and she had a light blush. "Um.. So Nathan instead of you driving I thought maybe I could do it instead. I mean to the bank that is, plus Adam.. You need fresh clothes." Carter mentioned wrinkling up her nose.

Nathan nodded in silent agreement. "Sure, if you want. Do you want me to come with still?" he asked and sat down next to Adam in a stiff fashion. He resisted the urge to run his hand through his hair, and instead picked at his glasses, taking them off and peering through them curiously as though he was looking for something that he knew wouldn't be there.

[Al the Dalek]

Alicia giggled. She bounced over to the plates, greedily grabbing at least four or five cookies in her little hands. She looooved cookies so very much.

Alvin only smirked at the girl, shrugging with his eyes crinkled up in that smiling way, as if saying, I'm sure you would with heavy sarcasm, turning his attention fully onto the soldier boy and his prey's weakness, the boy that seemed very injured indeed. When the freaky chimera turned its gaze towards him, he shook his head. "Don't trust him!" he advised it. "He wants to take your friend away to the scientists, and you too. You should kill him." He nodded wisely, as if he had just told the other chimera something perfectly normal.

Jon shook his own head, mouth very dry as he took a few steps back. He had the bullets, but he no longer had his gun, and while he was holding Erik there was no way to defend himself. "No, it's not like that at all! Listen, he's going to be perfectly okay! I'm not a scientist, I'm a..." He struggled a few moments with the word, looking as if he was going to throw up just thinking of saying it. "A chimera. I'm like you. You do not have to fight me. I am unarmed. I will not harm you."

"Cookies? What for is needing cookies?" Alessandra said, unable to keep the scorn out of her voice. "Useless for anything except be eaten, and then they are gone, gone like everything, rather than something that lasts."

Kasha was still passed out and drugged. Yup.

Danny squeezed Riki's hand and smiled up at Sarkissos. "I did his hair! Doesn't he look so pretty!? I think he's the prettiest person in the entire world!" She said dramatically, pulling Riki over to the cookies and reaching out for one, pausing before taking one and taking a bite. "Yumm!!" She exclaimed, turning back to Sarkissos with glee. "They are so yummy!!!"
Course, man, and thanks for driving us." He said. "I know you guys almost got in trouble cause of that."
Adam stood and smiled when they approached, looking down at his clothes again and grimacing, looking back up at Carter. "Yes, please, I'd love to come with. We could clean out my car too, it's gonna start smelling." He said, still grimacing. He looked at Nathan with a small smile. "

[Fauna]

"Well you have to come with anyway for the bank, remember?" Carter stated quietly in her Scottish accent. "Plus, if you don't mind, I'd like some new clothes... I shortened these one's... For my former plan to survive... Leonai might try something again... I just.... Fresh start and all." She muttered embarrassed knowing Nathan would judge her now probably. Carter looked down and had her arms crossed over her stomach. She hated being judged for her previous actions. She had had to survive somehow!

Nathan nodded and slipped his glasses back on, blinking as though his thoughts were entirely on letting his eyes adjust to seeing than what it was really focused on. Nathan stood up with a sigh. "How's Kasha? Do we need to wait for her or sign anything?" he asked Adam as he twisted to look at him.

Adam looked back at the nurse's desk. "No, I already filled out the paperwork. We should be back in a few hours, though, to check up on her." He said, looking back at them. He looked at Carter, smiling at her. "I agree, we'll definitely get something new to wear, for you and me and Nathan if he wants." Cause Adam IS a fashion icon, after all. Buttons.

Ooc: XD "Oh no, gurl, that just don't fit."

Bic: Nathan nodded and started walking for the doors, deciding mentally he didn't need anything. He couldn't remember how much money he had left in his wallet. Before he left for the mansion, he remembered having all the spare dollars left in his house, including every last spare penny. He wasn't about to spend it all, though. Speaking of money... Nathan twisted around and walked backwards at a slower pace. "Hey, we're going to the bank first, right? I take it you'll need money for those clothes." he pushed through the doors with his back and opened it wider, holding it out for the two to step through.

Carter nodded, "Yeah, that was the plan." She stated walking toward the exit also. "Which is why we need Adam to come along." She explained.

"Oh hoh. You seems to be like me. I LOVE cookies too." Sarkissos stated for Alicia before looked at Danny and Riki again. "Oh you did? You really made him look very pretty." He stated for Danny smiling.

Riki smiled faintly, but actually he was very happy about comments about his beautiness. Of course he knew he was beautiful and enjoyed that others realized it too. He let Danny to pull him close to the cookies, but hesitated a little before took one and bit it a little.

"No all thanks for me. Carter made the biggest work." Sarkissos said.

Demyse glanced at Alvin again with insane gaze in his eyes. "No trusting him...?" he glanced at Jon again starting to be very confused because didn't know which one he should believe. He wanted Erik to wake up to tell him. Surprisingly tears appeared to his eyes. He never had cried before, but now he suddenly did. "This one wants eagle-one to call this one home!!" He shouted suddenly and jumped closer to Jon and Erik. "This one only wants to be eagles-one's cat!"

Alexander grabbed a cookie and took a bite sitting in a chair as he waited for the others. He leaned his head on his hand munching happily, he had to admit they really were good cookies.

Kamlyn growled a bit, "Stop moving you stupid moron." She said trying to keep the towel tight. "This is enough of an annoyance without you fighting me."

Aura frowned at the girl but nodded her head politely in greeting. "Come on cookies are yummy, we'll all feel better if we eat some." she said with a smile

Celeste growled but was still too far away to hear what they said. He wings flared in anger, if he so much as made a move to hurt Erik she would kill him.

"Cookies are my favorite," Alicia said, nodding enthusiastically. Well, she would have said it if here mouth had not been absolutely crammed with cookies. It sounded like "rkis mmmry riit."

Alessandra shrugged. "Cookies not for eating for me, nice perhaps perchance smelling, but not for eating, because then they are gone and make the sick happen." She looked to Celor. "You wish to be cookie eating? Can be coming with and all that, but just watch if you wish because your eating is meh and I am all like wooo! My eating is better."

"He has to get help and medicine before he can," Jon said, almost pleading. There wasn't much he could do holding a useless person and being useless himself because of the lack of a weapon. "Look, please just trust me for a few seconds at least, or your friend might die! You are supposed to still be in the med tent anyway. Are you even understanding what I'm saying? Anything at all?" He glared daggers at the bird chimera who was not exactly being helpful, if daggers was an extreme enough term. Personally, he would be quite happy in tearing out his throat, which made him shudder. The animal-ish instincts were returning, or so he thought, because of the brief moments in which he had had to shift to save the situation slightly. "Don't listen to him either."

"Little swan, I'm bored of this game," Alvin finally called across to the girl. "Let's kill him and have done with it, hm? After all, there's no other way that these two will stop yelling at each other." He twirled his knife again, making a move towards Jon holding Erik. There wasn't much he could do, limping and bleeding and the like, but he was bored and needed some action!

Danny smiled wide, taking another bite of her cookie. "Really?! He looked pretty anyway, but I like doing hair!" She exclaimed, laughing at her little sister. "Alicia means she likes cookies! They are her favorite!" She said, then smiled. "Mine too!"

Erik coughed, blurring between consciousness, his eyes fluttering open for a moment, then closed again, though he still remained limp. He heard patches of what people were saying. "Hey, De...myse...trust this guy here, okay? He'll take me back...and you've gotta let him soon cause I can't...and you come too...and Celeste, help her out, got it? Don't let..." He cut off then, drifting back into the darkness.

Adam smirked. "Is that the only reason you brought me along?" He joked, then looked at Nathan. "Yep, that's the plan. Bank, then clothes, then check up on Kasha." He said, listing out what they needed to do.
