Seaspirit let out a small grunt of laughter as he watched his apprentice speak. "Lets go back to camp and drop those off. Then we can go hunting a bit. The other herbs can be gathered tomorrow," he mewed with a faint nod. Flicking his tail, motioning to Spiritpaw to follow him, he headed back towards camp. With a gentle touch of his tail tip to Spiritpaw's ear he added, "Try scenting other herbs that we can gather tomorrow while we walk or hunt." His sea green gaze flickered over the trees and roots as he led the way back to camp

Spiritpaw followed after Seaspirit. Through the heavy scent of the flowers and stems she carried in her mouth she smelt the sweet smell of Chervil. She meowed again through the mass of flowers and stems, "Chewvil Seaspiwit" (Chervil Seaspirit!) Then she continued on in silence, mentally noting the location of the Chervil. Soon they reached the camp and she let her mentor lead the way back to the Medicine Den.

Seaspirit let out a small purr at Spiritpaw's quick scenting and nodded. Padding on, they slipped back into camp and towards the medicine cats den. He found the camp oddly quiet and wondered where everyone ran off too. Hoping that there wasnt any trouble in camp, he padded deeper into the storage den and waited for Spritpaw to put the herbs away

Spiritpaw did so, storing each herb very gently and delicetly. The young she-cat stretched and yawned slightly. Then she stood up fully and meowed, "I'm ready to go when you Seaspirit." Her eyes glimmered happily.

Seaspirit nodded and glanced over at the mouse that Pinepaw had left for him. "Lead the way Spiritpaw," he mewed, taking the mouses tail genlty in his teeth. He intended on taking the mouse back to the fresh kill pile and catching something for himself when they were hunting. He straightened to his full height, and stretched his back a little

Spiritpaw purred slightly, happy she would get to lead the hunt. She strode out of the medicine den and then across the clearing and out of camp. She lifted her head high scenting the air. A little ways from camp she caught the scent of a mouse. She dropped into her hunters crouch and padded forward on light paws. Once the creature was in sight she sprang, keeping silent and quickly killing it. She sent a silent prayer to starclan for the life of the mouse. She then picked it up and kept walking.

Pinepaw's ear flicked thinking she heard coughing but it could have been her imagineation. She turned slightly but could just see Brambleheart licking her chest fur. Sadly Pinepaw padded back into camp and lied down placing her head on her paws.

Seaspirit whisked on after his apprentice. Dropping the mouse on the fresh kill pile, he raced on after Spirtpaw. He watched her crouch carefully, his eyes following the mouse's moevements as well. He blinked in approval at Spiritpaws catch and padded on. It seemed like he had taught his apprentice quick movements, but she was just named his apprentice. His eyes narrowed slightly at the fact that she seemed to have no flaws and wondered where that came from

Spiritpaw quickly buried the mouse, intending to pick it up later. She then carried on deeper into the forest. While she was walking she was busy thinking. Her thoughts had wandered to her kithood, she was raised by a she-cat that wasn't her mother.She only knew that much, she didn't know who her real mother was, or father or even any brothers and sisters. She sighed sadly then resumed hunting, cutting off her thoughts as she caught a clumsy squirrel.
